Kelly began working for Automotive Specialists in September 2018 as the Service Advisor.  After a term of maternity leave, Kelly rejoined our forces as our in-house Marketing and Advertising Consultant.  She has been working to perfect our auto sales photography and online presence. Originally from Chicago, Kelly has been a resident of Rushville for 15 years and has worked in the automotive industry in various roles since college.  Kelly married James Spears last year. She has 2 children. Kelly enjoys spending her time reading and with her animals including our newest spokes dog, Sherman!  

Angelica started with Automotive Specialists in May of 2019 as our Service Adviser. However, her career in the automotive field started four years ago with Advance Auto as a commercial parts specialist. She has a passion for automotive and strives on learning as much as possible to help better educate her customers on what is happening with their vehicles. Outside of work she is a free spirited, family oriented, dog loving, houseplant hobbyist who is always up for a new adventure.

Roscoe started working at the Rushville location in July 2017 as the Lube Technician.  Since first starting to work at Automotive Specialists, Roscoe has grown in his knowledge and skill in a large range of vehicles and systems.  His goal is to continue to increase his knowledge by expanding his knowledge through ASE tests and hands-on training. His fun-easy going attitude encourages a light-hearted atmosphere in the shop.  

Mike Cloyd has been faithfully working in the automotive industry since 1988.  March of 2020 will mark the six-year anniversary of Mike joining the staff at Automotive Specialists.  Mike loves to develop relationships with his customers.  He takes the time and energy to see that each vehicle he works on is carefully inspected and running efficiently.    We are thankful for Mike's wisdom and leadership capabilities.  In his spare time, Mike loves to fish, play cards, and spend time with his family. 

Bryan heads up the Glenwood location.  He works there as the lead tech as well as answering phones and communicating with customers on a daily basis.  Bryan began working as a tech at the Rushville location before moving to Glenwood in 2017. He loves working on his classic cars during his downtime and hanging out with his family. 

Mike joined our team in July 2019 in order to help grow the Rushville Auto Sales part of the business.  Mike has been around various forms of the Automotive Industry for most of his working career.  Starting his career in Michigan, moving to Louisville, KY, then Evansville, IN he spent 15+ years providing industrial high-speed assembly equipment, installation & service work to most of the Automotive Assembly Plants in the US, Canada, Mexico, and several around the world.  He spent some time in the performance / racing aftermarket manufacturing, has been a repair technician, has been a shop supervisor for a couple of the Heavy Duty semi-truck and engine manufacturers and was also a National Account Rep for Cummins Engines in Columbus, IN.  Mike & his wife moved to the Rushville area a few years ago to be closer to their family hobby of Sand Drag Racing

Missy is that smiling face behind the scenes that keeps all of us in line!  The beloved pay check lady, faithful book-keeper, she makes sure every t is crossed and I dotted.  Missy began working in the automotive industry as a Service Writer at the Glenwood location in 2006.  She worked in that position for 2 years before moving into her current position. On her off days, Missy enjoys spending time with her family (husband Kurtis and two kiddos- Kaison and Taylor, as they all await the arrival of new baby in August), finding unique coffee shops and restaurants. 

Elizabeth is a life-time resident of Rush County.  She grew up doing the grunt work in her father’s auto body repair shop (Mike’s Body Shop).  Elizabeth’s customer service career began in the non-profit world. She served the Rush County community as the program director of Big Brothers Big Sisters from 2009 to 2017.  Through this experience, her love for helping people expanded, as well as developing processes and procedures to increase efficiency. Elizabeth joined forces with Automotive Specialists in August of 2017 as the Service Adviser.   Over the past three years, she has encouraged change and growth from the front of the shop to the garage. Her moto for our business, “We are not just here to fix cars, but most importantly, we are here to take care of our people.”  Customer service, training, and growth are her top priorities for both the shop and herself. In her spare time, Elizabeth loves to rock climb, all things outdoors and spend time with her two girls.

Mark has been working on cars since he was a young boy.  Loving all things mechanical, he decided to acquire more technical information in high school at the Whitewater Career Center.  From there he moved on to automotive college at Automotive Technical Institute in Chicago, IL. Upon graduation, Mark began working at The Car Clinic in Rushville.  During this time, Mark was ASE Master Certified, Advanced Level Diagnostic Certified as well as Service Consultant Certified. After a short period of time, he was offered an opportunity to take ownership of Glenwood Automotive in Glenwood, IN.  He spent 9 years working and learning, not only about vehicles but about how to better serves his customers. In 2009, Mark opened Automotive Specialists, Inc. to serve the Rush County community with quality automotive repair. He received he Automotive Dealer’s License in 2013.  Mark’s vision, wisdom and leadership have brought us to the top shop we are today.
